Pazilo Yoga
Marilyn Reynolds runs Yoga Classes and Relaxation Days in the beautiful white town of Iznajar in the heart of Andalucia.
Classes with Marilyn are available during the day or early evenings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.
Marilyn has worked for many years as a state registered nurse and has always practiced yoga. Some 10 years ago whilst living in Argentina, she found a very special yoga teacher, who changed her life – many of the complaints mentioned below were vastly improved – and with that experience, she decided to train as a teacher so that she could pass this on to others.
She has training certificates from both Argentina and UK and now runs classes in her small studio just outside Iznajar. The classes are small and intimate, (with a maximum of 8) so that individual problems can be dealt with. You will be given personal attention where necessary. All equipment, including mats, are provided. You need only to wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing
Relaxation Days are also proving very popular. Perhaps you feel you live just too far away to come for a weekly class? Or perhaps you feel you’d like to try yoga, before committing to a regular class. Come and spend a relaxing day at Pazilo. On Relaxation Days we practice VERY slow yoga, interspersed with coffee breaks and a massage from a qualified masseuse. Following a relaxed lunch, we take time to practice a very short meditation and then finish the day with relaxation. Do not be put off by the thought of a ‘whole day of yoga’ – many beginners come and join us and are pleasantly surprised by the calm and peaceful pace of the day.

Yoga is a form of exercise which has existed for many thousands of years. It began in India where the ancient language was Sanskrit. The word ‘yoga’ is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘union’ – what we are aiming for is the union of the body, the mind and the spirit. How often do you find that your body won’t do what your mind wants it to do? Perhaps you think you cannot practice yoga because you do not have enough flexibility - WRONG!! Come to yoga classes and you will become more flexible! You will also increase your strength, you will learn to clear your mind, and most importantly, you will learn how to relax. Many of our every day complaints such as high blood pressure, palpitations, asthma, arthritis, headaches, backache – so many of which are stress related – will be improved by practicing yoga
